  18. tell you what your problem is . . ." The real problem is that
  19. Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis have had their final fling with
  20. the quick-cut, overlapping dialogue that once made ABC's
  21. Moonlighting a runaway television hit. The network canceled the
  22. show last week after a wavering story line, too many reruns and
  23. well-publicized star wars made the once stylish series go bump
  24. in the night. Working on Moonlighting, says Willis, was like
  25. playing a new song for the first time: "When we were `on,' we
  26. hit some notes that will never be played again."
